After a sabbatical leave for almost 20 years, 80’s rap group Bass Rhyme Posse and the 90’s rap group Chinese Mafia is back with a brand new song entitled Boomboxx. Bass Rhyme Posse is the first rap group in The Philippines. Originally started as DJ mobile crew called R.A.P. (Rock All Parties) from 1986. The crew changed its name to Bass Rhyme Posse in 1990.
Chinese Mafia was founded by Chi-Nigg and Klutch-B. Their debut album was released in 1998 by Neo Records, appeared on numerous compilation albums, movie soundtracks and featured on other artists’ albums from 1996 up to the present. The duo complements each other with their contrasting styles.
This video was shot in the Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, New York, New Orleans, Washington DC and Florida.
